Manjung Power Plant
Project Profile
The Manjung coal-fired power plant is located on a man-made island off the coast of Perak in Malaysia. It generates 2,100MW from its three 700MW units. The plant is located 4.5m above sea level, making coal imports easier. The objective of this plant is to meet the 80% electricity demand of Malaysia on natural gas.
Scope of Work
Moment® JoinTec, Bargrip, Spearline and Wedgelok Couplers have been supplied to this power plant development.
Tanjung Bin Power Plant

Project Profile
Tanjung Bin Energy (TBE) power plant is a new super critical coal-fired power plant located at the southern tip of the West Malaysian Peninsula. The 1,000MW newly constructed unit is an extension of Malakoff’s existing Tanjung Bin Power Plant (TBPP), which has a generating capacity of 2,100MW.
Scope of Work
A wide range of Moment® Bargrip, Spearline and Wedgelok Couplers have been supplied to this power plant development. Besides, Moment® Spherical Head Lifting Anchors, Halfen Cast-In Channels and Bolts have also been supplied for this project.
Kahramaa Mega Reservoir

Project Profile
Due to the continuous growth and development in Qatar, and consequently the huge increase in water demand, the objective of this Mega Reservoirs Project is to provide the 7 days of potable water storage in the new mega reservoirs and the existing and future secondary reservoirs preserving the water quality as per Kahramaa and World Health Organization (WHO) standards.
Scope of Work
Approximately 2.5 million Moment® Epoxy JoinTec Couplers have been supplied to this iconic Mega Reservoir Project.
